Samsung recently filed a couple of trademark applications for new smartphone names - Galaxy H1 and Galaxy H7 - indicating that it might soon launch a new series of handsets. Both trademark applications were filed in South Korea with the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
At the moment, there's no way of telling if the H1 and H7 names will be used for commercial products. However, if that's going to happen, these will certainly be Android-based devices (since the Galaxy brand is exclusively reserved for Samsung's Android line-up). Of course, these could also be tablets, or different products.
As you may already know, since last year Samsung introduced no less than three new series of smartphones: Galaxy A (including premium, metal-made handsets like the Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A3), Galaxy E (including the Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7), and Galaxy J (including the low-end Galaxy J1).
P.S.: The smartphone pictured above is the Samsung Galaxy A5.
